Not even 24 hours after reports surfaced revealing Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called it quits, the couple is sharing that they're still together. According to TMZ, J-Rod exclusively told the outlet, "All reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things."

While they didn't share what issues they're focusing on, TMZ confirmed that their relationship problems don't involve a "third party." Last month, rumors began to swirl about A-Rod flirting with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy. However, LeCroy previously told Page Six that they'd "never met up."

"They never officially broke up and talked about it but are still together. They hit a rough patch. But were not broken up," an insider close to the pair admitted to People. Meanwhile, speculation of an affair with LeCroy "had no bearing on the rough patch at all," according to the source.

On Friday, multiple outlets confirmed that Lopez and Rodriguez ended their engagement. "This has been a long time coming," a source told People.

Another insider revealed to the outlet that the COVID-19 lockdown played a role in their breakup. "They started having problems during the lockdown," the source said. "They did therapy together. They really worked on their relationship." The source added that they tried to make things work for their respective children, who have grown close amid the couple's four-year relationship.

At the moment, A-Rod is in Miami, while J.Lo is shooting her new movie Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic. Neither have addressed the news on social media.
