Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Had Dinner at the Same Place They Went on Their First Date

In the week following Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez's split, the pair were spotted having dinner together at a restaurant that holds a special significance in the timeline of their relationship.

According to sources at Page Six, the former couple reunited at Wolfgang Puck inside the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angles over the weekend — the same place they had their first date back in 2017. An on-looker told the publication, "There still seemed to be love and respect there."

While it's unclear what prompted their unexpected meetup (and why they chose the place where they first fell in love as the location), it doesn't necessarily mean they're getting back together. In a joint statement announcing their split, the pair mentioned that they will continue to work together on their "shared businesses and projects" — which includes real estate and wellness companies — so it's totally possible they kept things strictly professional.

Following Lopez and Rodriguez's outing, A-Rod headed home to Miami to celebrate his daughter Ella's birthday, as she turned 13 earlier this week.

"I just can't believe my Ella Bella turns 13 today," A-Rod captioned a video montage dedicated to his daughter on Instagram. "My baby girl is officially a teenager!! Ella - everyday you amaze me more than I could have ever imagined. You are smart, mature, talented, caring, and funny. I am so proud of the young woman you are becoming and so lucky and grateful to be your dad. I love you so much."

J.Lo also wished Ella a happy birthday with a sweet photo of the pair, writing: "Happy Birthday Ella Bella."
