Jennifer Lawrence Is Expecting Her First Child with Husband Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence and her art-dealer husband, Cooke Maroney, are growing their family. People confirmed that the pair are expecting their first child together, reporting that Lawrence's rep confirmed the news and that the couple is happy to be welcoming a new addition.

Lawrence and Maroney began dating back in June 2018 and were engaged in February 2019 before getting married in an intimate ceremony in October 2019. Notoriously secretive, sightings have been rare and the two have not made any public announcement about the baby just yet. Lawrence has also been quiet about the relationship in general, choosing to keep details private and not mention her beau in many interviews.

During a rare mention in June 2019, Lawrence called Maroney "the greatest human being I've ever met" during an appearance on Catt Sadler's podcast, Naked with Catt Sadler. "He really is, and he gets better."

Though she keeps quiet about her own romantic life, Lawrence isn't shy when it comes to talking about other celebrities' love lives. Earlier this year, she told everyone that she saw Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck vacationing together in Montana. That was in May, just a month after Lopez and Alex Rodriguez ended their engagement.

"Breaking fucking news," Lawrence said on The Bitch Bible, Jackie Schimmel's podcast. "Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together. They're in Montana. They are on vacation with each other right now."

With a best friend like Kris Jenner, Lawrence certainly has the know-how to spin a story — and get the attention away from herself when she has to.
