Jennifer Lawrence Is All of Us Reacting to a FaceTime Call From the Kardashian-Jenners
Keeping Up With the Kardashians superfan Jennifer Lawrence was on the brink of tears when the first family of reality TV gave her an impromptu FaceTime call. Kylie Jenner captured it all on TikTok in a pair of clips that show various celebrities responding to a call from the Kardashian-Jenners, mostly clad in black and sporting very serious expressions.
In the first clip, which was captioned "this was fun lol," the family, including Kris Jenner, older sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé, along with Kylie and Kendall, sit together and call a few friends. Based on their surprised expressions and reactions, the callers weren't expecting to see the brood sitting together. It's also weird to have an entire family call and not say anything when you pick up, so some of the reactions are undoubtedly genuine.
Lawrence appears in Kylie's second clip, captioned "PART 2" with a laughing emoji. James Charles, LaLa Anthony, and others also get the call.
"First, I had to make sure it was real," Lawrence said, eliciting giggles and laughs from the Kardashian-Jenners. "What is even happening?" she appears to say, covering her eyes and laughing.
It's still unclear what the calls were for and if the FaceTimes were just an inside joke that Kylie wanted to share. Maybe this was the family's 2020 Christmas card (that could explain the coordinating outfits) or maybe the Kardashian-Jenners are just as bored as the rest of us between heading to Nobu, throwing over-the-top destination birthdays, and borderline narcissistic fashion choices.
Back in 2019, Lawrence appeared on KUWTK via FaceTime, when Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick called Kris on the app.
"This is Jennifer fuckin' Lawrence, that's who you’re talking to," she said when the call connected. Apparently, she was hanging out with Kris when the two called and went with it.
"I am the new Kris," she finished, flashing a goblet of wine and sharing a laugh with the family matriarch. "Honestly, I'm gonna be real — we wouldn’t be having this much fun if you guys were here."
