Jennifer Garner's School Pick-Up Outfit Included a Suede Miniskirt and Sneakers

Jennifer Garner isn't just your average mom — she's a cool mom. So it's no surprise that she showed up at school pick-up in a causal yet totally chic outfit.

On Thursday, the Emmy-nominated actress picked up her son Samuel from his school in Los Angeles while wearing a brown suede miniskirt with gold-accented pockets and a black and white striped cardigan, which she paired with matching sneakers.

She accessorized with a simple silver pendant necklace and a brown KN95 mask, and she wore her hair partially pinned back.

The actress and her ex-husband Ben Affleck will be celebrating Samuel's 10th birthday in February. Along with their son, the two also share daughters Violet and Seraphina. Affleck recently opened up about his marriage and sobriety during a viral Howard Stern interview that landed the actor in some hot water after he said he felt "trapped" in his marriage to Garner.

"Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped. I was like, 'I can't leave because of my kids, but I'm not happy, what do I do?' And what I did was [I] drank a bottle of scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution," he recalled. "Ultimately, we tried, we tried, we tried because we had kids, but both of us felt like we didn't want this to be the model that our kids see of marriage."

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he clarified his statement, saying he didn't mean any disrespect. "I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom," he told Kimmel. "That's not true. I don't believe that. It's the exact opposite of who I am, what I believe."
