"We can lay that pupper to rest."

You know who has the right to ask Jennifer Garner if she’s pregnant? Jennifer Garner. Only Jennifer Garner. Sure, women have been able to vote for 100 years, but privacy and autonomy when it comes to our own bodies? Nope, not for us.

Garner, the quirky aunt of Instagram, recently posted a video in which she, in a pair of denim overalls we’d like to own, introduces viewers to the cows on her farm (that’s not an innuendo, just ask Mistletoe!).

Naturally, minutes after posting, someone asked the dreaded question female celebrities have been receiving from strangers since the dawn of time (or at least the dawn of social media): “Are you pregnant?”

The actress, being the benevolent soul she is, actually responded to said comment, writing, “I am 48, have three healthy kids, and am not — and never will be — pregnant. We can lay that pupper to rest. Have [I] gained the Covid 19? Possibly. But that is another story.”

Got that, world? Not only is your speculation about a woman’s body rude as hell, but it has absolutely no basis in reality. Let Jen and her cows be!
