Classic, sophisticated, and did we mention pockets?

Jennifer Garner is getting in the holiday spirit with a festive dress that resembles a pretty Christmas present — bow and all. The actress joined first lady Dr. Jill Biden to host the PBS holiday special, In Performance at the White House: Spirit of the Season.

Garner arrived at the president's home in a classic, green silk dress by Oscar de la Renta. The square-neck frock was tapered in the midsection before slightly ballooning out into a skirt that hit right at her knee. A skinny black belt adorned with a gold bow hugged her waist, and she accessorized with Anita Ko earrings and black pointy-toe suede Roger Vivier pumps that were embellished with sparkly square buckles. In short, this outfit is festive as hell.

Garner captured the sophisticated look with an Instagram in the White House, surrounded by faux snow-covered trees. The special aired on Tuesday night with "holiday favorites from our most beloved artists," according to her caption. "Tonight's special will add meaning to your holiday season, I promise. ✨🎄♥️."

Garner's beauty look was also holiday-party ready; her dark, shoulder-length hair was styled in a deep side part and Old Hollywood-esque curls, perfected by her hairstylist Adir Abergel. Makeup artist Genevieve Herr went with a soft glam look with subtle black liner, rosy cheeks, and a pink lip.

Yesterday, the first lady took to Instagram to thank those who contributed to getting the White House holiday ready. "The holiday volunteers made this season at the White House possible," she wrote. Thank you for everything! 💕"
