Jennifer Aniston Just Wore the Most Controversial Dress and Shoe Combo

Jennifer Aniston may be the epitome of '90s hot girl fashion, have a hairstyle named after her, and look like she drank from the fountain of youth, but she is not above Ugg boots because, well ... they'll be there for you.

On Friday, Jen was spotted in Paris on the set of Murder Mystery 2, the second installment to her and Adam Sandler's Netflix film franchise. The actress paraded around on set in a vibrant red dress with a massive slit and a cozy black coat, which she held over her face in lieu of a mask. She paired the crimson garment, which appears to be a costume, with sheer dark stockings and black Ugg boots with side gold zippers. Her famous tresses were twisted into an updo with a few face-framing strands left out.

Filming for Murder Mystery 2 is underway in France and is also slated to shoot in the Caribbean. This sequel to the first movie — the fifth-most popular movie on the platform, according to Deadline — is directed by Jeremy Garelick, known for writing and directing The Break-Up, which also stars Aniston and Vince Vaughn. The film will potentially be ready to premiere in late 2022, but the plot is being kept under lock and key. There will be a number of new characters, though, played by big names like Jodie Turner-Smith and Mark Strong.

Aniston recently rang in her 53rd birthday in chaotic party pants, which were first worn during her InStyle cover shoot, thank you very much. She posted an Instagram video shaking the gold fringed trousers with the caption, "Thank you all so much 🤗⁣I'm filled with so much gratitude for all the love that poured over me on my birthday…! Blessed girl over here 🥰🥳⁣⁣I love you ❤️👈🏼!"
