And to mark the big day, his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, gave everyone a gift via a pair of posts to her Instagram Story. The slides had something for everyone, with dog fans getting a peek at Theroux's dog, Kuma, in the first story post and a shirtless snap of the actor in a second. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JT," she wrote atop the first image, which showed Theroux dressed up in a suit with Kuma beside him wearing an embellished gold collar and a matching thick gold chain. Next, Aniston shared a shot of Theroux wearing a white visor, a chunky gold ring, and not much else, his bare chest on full display. Instagram/JenniferAniston Instagram/JenniferAniston Jennifer Aniston Clapped Back at Commenters Asking Why She Cut Off Her Anti-Vax Friends Theroux posted his own birthday message today, telling his followers that for him 50 looked "dumb and hilarious." "As a kid I couldn't begin to imagine what 50 looks like … and yet of course it looks like this," he wrote. "Both dumb and hilarious at the same time." Jennifer Aniston's First Big Splurge Was $13,000 The two started dating back in 2011, later getting engaged after just a year and then secretly getting married in their backyard in 2015. Three years later, they announced their separation. Even though they're not together anymore, Aniston's annual birthday posts show that there's no bad blood between the two. And the feeling is mutual. Theroux also posts to commemorate Aniston's birthdays, even going as far as calling her by her nickname, B, in one of his homages. "I would say we've remained friends. We don't talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text," Theroux told Esquire earlier this year. "Like it or not, we didn't have that dramatic split, and we love each other. I'm sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship. Also, she makes me laugh very, very hard. She's a hilarious person. It would be a loss if we weren't in contact, for me personally. And I'd like to think the same for her." Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
