The three-time nominee (Best Music Video, Best Pop Vocal Video, and Best Pop Solo Performance), offered up a jazzy rendition of his track "Watermelon Sugar" during his first-ever performance at the awards. He took the stage in an all-black custom Gucci leather ensemble, but his very, very long fuzzy scarf almost stole the show. Styles's leather 'fit featured a cropped blazer, no shirt, and wide-leg flared pants. Of course, he had his usual handful of rings (H and S present and accounted for) and a long, knee-grazing green scarf. His former band, One Direction, never earned the distinction, though it won 177 other awards, according to Express.
