Emma Corrin Will Star in a Movie With Harry Styles, Her Former Dog Sitter

Small world.

Right off her Golden Globes and SAG nominations this week, The Crown star Emma Corrin has reportedly been cast opposite singer/actor/excellent dog caretaker Harry Styles in an upcoming movie.

Deadline reports that Corrin and Styles will star in Amazon's upcoming My Policeman, a romantic drama based on the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts.

The news comes months after Corrin revealed that she and Styles know each other, and that he once watched her dog Spencer while she was at a dinner.

"He once dogsat for me," she revealed during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November. "The thing I love about this is also my dog has no idea, which I think is the wonderful thing about it. For a dog, it's just a person."

"I was having dinner sort of near where he lives, and he looked after Spencer for me, but not again. He hasn't done it again," she added. "And I think it's because halfway through the meal I got a message that just said, 'He won't stop farting. Is this normal?'"

Styles has been attached to My Policeman since September, so who knows if he had any hand in suggesting Corrin as a co-star, but either way, we're hoping for at least one set photo of Corrin and Styles with her dog.

My Policeman takes place in the '90s, and follows the arrival of elderly invalid Patrick into Marion and Tom's home, which triggers the exploration of "seismic events" from 40 years ago. Styles and Corrin are set to star as Tom and Marion, respectively.

Styles has been attached to My Policeman since September (when Lily James was previously in talks for the Marion role), so who knows if he had any hand in suggesting Corrin as a co-star, but either way, we're hoping for at least one set photo of Corrin and Styles with her dog.
