On Friday, the actress gave a lesson in sexy suiting when she stepped out at a screening of her new film Bruised at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. For the occasion, Berry was joined by her boyfriend Van Hunt, and wore a velvet floral print Veronica Beard pantsuit comprised of flare-leg trousers and an oversized blazer. Leaving her bra at home, Berry wore a plunging lace-up top underneath that crisscrossed over her chest. She accessorized with open-toe platform heels, minimal jewelry, and a glossy nude lip. Halle Berry's Plunging Mini Dress Included a Snake Belt Buckle Earlier this week, Halle opened up to Women's Health about training to play an MMA fighter in the her upcoming film, in which she portrays a former martial artist who gets back into the ring years after a humiliating defeat. For the part, she worked with UFC champion Valentina Shevchenko, learning the basics of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, tae kwon do and kickboxing. "I'm at my best when I have to work hard and when I'm facing challenges," she told magazine for their December cover. "To be the age I am and push my body to its limits reminded me that age is just a number. We can control how we define ourselves, and I've never been healthier and felt stronger. This movie helped me realize that." She continued, "One of the biggest compliments I got in the whole process was when we were shooting scenes and the referee who called Valentina's fights in real life said, 'That last take, I thought I was watching a real Valentina fight!' And for me, that was the moment that all this training, all this work, having a real fighter, paid off." Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
