In addition to the 79 left dead or presumed dead, many families have found themselves homeless. Thankfully, the tragic incident was not without an uprising of national (and international) kindness. Many are working hard to provide for the victims of the fire. According to The Guardian, 68 apartments in an affluent London building are being made available to displaced families affected by the blaze. Queen Adele, herself, paid a visit to the firefighters who arrived at the scene that fateful Wednesday. In the latest act of good will, super producer Simon Cowell pulled together a star-studded rendition of Simon and Garfunkel’s "Bridge Over Troubled Water," the proceeds of which will directly benefit displaced Grenfell Tower residents and the victims’ families. The track features the talents of many major names, including Rita Ora, James Blunt, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Leona Lewis.
