Gigi Hadid's Sweater Looks Like It Was Made By Your Grandma
As a supermodel, Gigi Hadid can wear just about anything and look good. Confirming this theory ahead of the weekend, the new mom stepped out in a knitted sweater that looked like it came straight out of your grandma's closet — and effortlessly pulled it off.
On Friday, Hadid was spotted headed to the salon in New York's Chelsea neighborhood wearing a yellow crochet polo top with cherry blossom appliqués and a scalloped collar. She teamed the granny chic garment with coordinating mustard pants, white slides, and a gold beaded necklace.
A high ponytail, mod sunglasses, and a disposable face mask provided the finishing touches to her relaxed look.
Just a week ago, Gigi shared what she wore at this time last year while waiting on the arrival of her daughter, Khai. On Instagram, the 26-year-old posted a series of Polaroids from an at-home pregnancy shoot, and in the photos, she modeled a pair of silky boxer shorts and a striped pajama top over her black bra.
Since becoming a mom, Hadid has taken a more laid-back approach to dressing. During her first public outing with Khai, she wore yellow tube socks and white sneakers along with a pair of wide-leg jeans and an oversized blazer. And for her birthday, Gigi opted for a matching knit set that was at once comfy and chic.
