Gigi Hadid Paid Tribute to Baby Khai with Her Look on the Moschino Runway

From supermodel to supermom.

Gigi Hadid's latest modeling job looked a lot like her life at home as a mom.

On Thursday, her two worlds collided on the Moschino runway while modeling the brand's new spring-summer collection during NYFW, and her campy outfits seemingly paid tribute to her 11-month-old daughter Khai. First, Hadid opened the show wearing a skirt suit with a crop top underneath — all in a matching nursery-themed print. She accessorized with earrings that resembled teething rings and a necklace constructed from kid alphabet blocks.

For the show's finale, Gigi took her look to the next level in a quilted patchwork gown with an elephant's trunk emblazoned on the shoulder and a baby bottle-inspired bag in hand. The supermodel played up the accessory, posing and twirling with it, and even pretending to take a sip from its nipple.

Gigi gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the ensemble on her Instagram Stories, and fittingly captioned the post: "Moschino BABY."

Back in January, Hadid opened up about her pregnancy, and revealed she found out that she was expecting Khai the day before walking the Tom Ford show during Paris Fashion Week last year. "I was so nauseous backstage 😅 but I learned I could kinda control it if I continuously ate, so my mom would pack me snacks before each show 🥖 🧀 bless," she tweeted, adding in another tweet that BFF Taylor Swift also gave her bagels.
