Fittingly, the HBO show is launching a new line of wines, partnering with Santa Rosa winery Vintage Wine Estates to release a "proprietary red blend" ($19.99), a Cabernet Sauvignon ($39.99), and a Chardonnay ($19.99)," according to Entertainment Weekly. Wine has had a big presence on the show, with both Cersei and Tyrion Lannister indulging in the libation often, and Jeff Peters, Director of Licensing and Retail for HBO, told the mag, that is one of the big reasons they decided to launch the wine for the show. "An officially licensed wine for the show feels like a natural extension for our fans," he said. "Game of Thrones wines most definitely will add to the fan experience as the battle for the Iron Throne heats up heading into the final seasons." 11 Gift Ideas for the Game of Thrones Obsessed The wine line will be available this spring, just in time for the show's summer premiere.
