Dua Lipa Wore a Confusing Striped Two-Piece Set With Cutouts

Dua Lipa has so many good outfits that it's nearly impossible to keep up with all of them. Her latest? A black-and-white striped long-sleeve, cut-out two-piece skirt and top set. Sounds confusing, right? But given her bold and daring fashion sense, are you even surprised?

On Monday, the "Levitating" pop star stepped out in the N.Y.C.'s SoHo with her boyfriend Anwar Hadid wearing a dizzying, almost optical illusion-giving, black-and-white striped two-piece set that included chest cutouts, long black cords hanging off the shirt, and a thigh-high slit.

Lipa paired the trendy two-piece with chunky blue sneakers, black rectangular sunglasses, a lavender-colored shoulder bag, and pearl drop earrings. The singer's outfit is actually the perfect in-between-seasons look: long sleeves for a slight chill, cutouts and a leg slit to stay cool in any lingering heat.

She and Hadid were photographed together on their day out and about in the Big Apple. And she's been spending a lot of time with Anwar and his family, the Hadids, whom she appears to get along with swimmingly. The "We're Good" singer attended Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's daughter Khai's first birthday celebration, and was photographed arriving with her friend and Anwar's sister Bella Hadid. The two looked chic in their on-theme ("silly pants or skirt") party outfits. Lipa even shared a photo to her Instagram Story from the festivities in honor of the toddler's big day.

"Happy Birthday perfect angel Khai," Lipa wrote.
