Giuliani, a former mayor of New York City and President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, was reportedly caught in a compromising scene in Cohen's Borat Subsequent Moviefilm — in which he is allegedly shown following an actress impersonating a reporter into a bedroom and at one point laying on the bed and putting his hands in his pants. Though Giuliani claimed the scene was a "fabrication" and that he was simply "tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment," Demi Lovato chimed in, calling him out. "So you normally drink with reporters, follow them to the bedroom and then lie on the bed and let her take off your mic for you?" she tweeted. "I guess I’ve been doin my interviews all wrong..." Giuliani claimed that "At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.” Demi Lovato's Billboard Music Awards Performance Was Reportedly Censored Cohen has pranked several Republican politicians (including Mike Pence) rallies and even fooled a lawmaker into repeatedly yelling a racial epithet, subsequently leading to his resignation in 2018.
