Dakota Johnson Was Spotted Wearing Three Controversial Trends in One Look

Dakota Johnson can make a casual hoodie-and-jeans ensemble look like the epitome of chic, so it's not a huge surprise that she also jazzed up a simple loungewear outfit using her propensity for excellent accessories.

On Tuesday, Johnson was photographed filming her upcoming movie Am I Ok?, wearing a navy hoodie and black bike shorts with sneakers — but the real winner of the outfit was her rainbow cap, tucked over her perfectly tousled pigtails.

Johnson has been filming the movie in L.A., where production has resumed after a brief pause following a positive COVID-19 case on set.

This week, her father Don Johnson made an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, where he recalled a conversation with his daughter about the "family payroll" after she graduated high school.

"The funny thing about her is—we have a rule in the family that, you know, if you stay in school, you get to stay on the payroll," he said. "So, you go to college, you get to stay on the payroll. Towards the end of high school, I went to her and I said, 'So, do you want to go visit some colleges?' Or something like that. And she was like, 'Oh, no. I'm not going to college.'"

When he told her that meant she "won't be on the payroll anymore" and asked how she was "going to manage," she replied, "Don't you worry about it."

"Three weeks later she had nailed down that part in David Fincher's The Social Network, and the rest is, shall we say, cinema history," he said.
