Chrissy Teigen's Holiday Look Has Lots of Skin, Not So Much Sparkle

Forget ugly sweaters, forget shimmer and shine. Forget what you think you know about getting dressed up for the holidays, because Chrissy Teigen is here to offer up a party look that works for just about any occasion, provided you're not shy about showing plenty of skin. Teigen shared a gallery of pics today and for the occasion, she put on anything-but-basic all-black.

Teigen's outfit includes a black blazer over a coordinating crop top and flared pants. All things that even normals could have in their wardrobes, but her combo included pants with a split hem and lace-up details that went from her ankles all the way up to her bare waist. It wasn't just a flash of skin, it was a full-on statement, especially paired with her necklace-free decolletage and bare midriff. She finished the look with strappy shoes and a messy, casual updo.

"Nice pants," she captioned the shots, which also offered up a cameo from her husband, John Legend.

He dropped three heart-eye emoji into the comments section.

Teigen's black blazer is a little more sedate than her past forays into tailoring, which have included a blinged-out, chain-encrusted, and rhinestone-embellished jacket. And even her LBDs have come with some sparkle, unlike today's minimal outfit. But the bra-under-blazer isn't new territory for her — she wore a red topper over a floral bra earlier this year in New York City.
