Chrissy Teigen Paid Tribute to Her Late Son, Jack, with a New Tattoo

Teigen revealed she suffered a miscarriage in September.

Chrissy Teigen is keeping the memory of her late son, Jack, alive with a new tattoo.

On Saturday, the 34-year-old displayed the sweet tribute during date night with husband John Legend on her Instagram Stories. While holding hands across the dinner table, Teigen's new ink — featuring Jack's name written in cursive — was visible on the inside of her wrist. It's located just above the inkings of her other family member's names: John, Luna, and Miles. Legend also has a matching tattoo with his wife and children's names.

Teigen announced the devastating news about her pregnancy loss back in September, and over the past couple of weeks, she's slowly made a return to social media. Just a few days ago, she shared an emotional essay she penned about her miscarriage at 20 weeks.

"Late one night, I was told it would be time to let go in the morning. I cried a little at first, then went into full blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness,” wrote Teigen, who was diagnosed with a partial placenta abruption. "Even as I write this now, I can feel the pain all over again."

Chrissy revealed that she will never forget her son, and one day will discuss the loss with Luna and Miles. "Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see," she said, before adding: "People say an experience like this creates a hole in your heart. A hole was certainly made, but it was filled with the love of something I loved so much. It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full."
