We've seen a lot over the years — including plenty of drama — but surprises? Those are proving fewer and father between. Bachelor Nation has seen it all. But the popular series, now in its 24th season with Peter Weber as the titular single man, will actually have some surprises this season — at least according to Chris. “This will be one of the more riveting, crazy finishes we have ever had,” he told InStyle at The Television Critics Press Tour last week. “It really surprised Bachelor Peter and I — no one saw it coming.” The veteran host noted that the wild ending has never occurred on any previous season. “I have always said, I have seen everything when it comes to this series, but inevitably, there’s always something that hasn’t happened before,” he teased. But does this surprise have anything to do with former Bachelorette (and Peter's TV ex) Hannah Brown? Just last week, after the very first episode, it seemed like there was still unfinished love business between the two. “It was really telling. That conversation they were having was not intended, we didn’t mean for that to happen. It just evolved, it organically happened. That’s the kind of guy he is,” Harrison noted. “Peter wears his heart on his sleeve, which makes for great television. He has a great story to tell.” The Bachelor Is Way Too Obsessed With Parents’ Marriages While he can’t say who his new lady love is, Weber was reflective of how his season of The Bachelor had impacted him. “I’m a lot more resilient than I thought I was. I am a lot stronger. I went through a lot and made it through,” he said. “I learned how to become a better communicator, which is one of the biggest things in a relationship. I definitely feel like I am a better man coming out at the end of it.” He added: “This has been the most fun, romantic, exhilarating experience I have ever had in my life. I am so happy I did it.”
