19 Times Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Proved That Love Isn't Dead
Fact—Hollywood is no fairy tale for celeb marriages. But if there's one couple that has endured the test of time, busy schedules, and paparazzi, that's Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Exactly 19 years ago today, the two tied the knot in a secret ceremony at the Cloisters Castle in Maryland.
And after all those years, the Smiths seem to be going strong, giving us hope that true love is not a mirage. And how do they make it work, you ask? "You have to be there for each other. That’s how you build great relationships [...] We as men and women have to learn how to be friends with one another," Pinkett told People back in 2014. "It’s not just about loving someone. It’s about understanding, acceptance and compassion."
And as far as celebrating their love goes, the couple does the most Will and Jada thing ever—they "high-five each other and go: We survived another year, homie! Yeah!" Pure #relationshipgoals, we tell ya.
So today, in honor of their 19th wedding anniversary, we take a trip down memory lane to remember 19 times Smith and Pinkett Smith proved that love isn't dead.
Spoiler alert—there's a lot of kissing ahead.
