Bella Hadid Wore a Sheer Cutout Bustier with the Most Confusing Pants

Where do they end — and better yet, begin?

It's no secret that Bella Hadid is fearless when it comes to fashion. As one of the original harbingers of the ovary-cutout trend and paperclip top, there's essentially nothing the supermodel considers too chaotic to wear — even when the dress code is rather formal.

Case in point? On Friday, Bella attended an immersive experience event at Burberry in Beverly Hills in a bustier top with sheer panels and side cutouts, but more head-turning were her pants. She paired her lingerie-inspired shirt with khaki trousers that featured two waistbands. The top one resembled the waist of a tailored pair of pants, while the bottom, which began at her crotch, looked stretchy like leggings. They extended down past her black pointed-toe pumps and covered the tops of her feet.

She layered a short-sleeved coordinating trench coat over her outfit and toted around a camel leather handbag. Gold logo-embossed earrings and sleek bun completed the look.

Last month, Bella revealed that her super chic yet sometimes bizarre outfits are for the sake of her mental health. In a new interview with WSJ. Magazine, Hadid opened up about how her clothes — and the process of getting dressed — help with her mood. "In the last year, it was really important for me to learn that even if people talk about my style or if they like it or if they don't, it doesn't matter, because it's my style," she said. "When I leave the house in the morning, what I think about is: Does this make me happy? Do I feel good in this and do I feel comfortable?"
