Bella Hadid Just Made a Case for This Controversial Short Trend
Bella Hadid can make just about any cringe-y fashion trend look good. Over the past year, the model has brought back questionable early aughts and '90s staples (think Ed Hardy tees and head-to-toe windbreakers) in a way that makes us actually want to wear them again. The latest piece to make a comeback in Bella's wardrobe? Bermuda shorts.
Bella's most recent outfit took us back to our youth, dressed in a uniform-like ensemble that included a brown jacket and a matching tee over a crisp white button-up and red tie — all accompanied by, yes, Bermuda shorts.
She paired the menswear-meets-playground look with knee-high socks and black boots while accessorizing with crimson sport sunglasses and gold hoops. Bella's glam was kept fairly simple, with a slicked-back, low ponytail and minimal makeup.
Bella has been the star of nearly every major runway show during Paris Fashion Week. From Off-White and Balenciaga to Coperni and Givenchy, the model has had a busy week — and that's just in Paris. Bella also walked in the Versace, Moschino, Fendi, Tods, and Marc Jacobs shows in Milan and New York. But perhaps even more notable than her impressive runway resumé this season is her chaotic street style, which has included dresses over pants, high-waisted undies, a dress with an arm wallet, and a diamond tooth gem.
