How many times have you been engrossed in a film, watching the good guy pursue the bad guy or the girl meet the boy, only to get distracted thinking, "Oh! I love her dress, I wonder who it's by?!" An eye-catching wardrobe in film is nothing unusual, of course. Outfits are part of the story telling; they help define who a character is. But let's be real, the actress on screen can be the biggest villain known to mankind, but if she has killer style, we can't help but root for her a little bit, if only to give her outfits more screen time. A movie filled with sleek dresses, cool baubles, awesome accessories, and an even more awesome woman? Well, that's our kind of movie. Here, we count down five of our favorite film closets from a variety of on-screen characters. We have an criminal informant, a ditzy high schooler, an aspiring writer, a psychopath, and a hustler. They all have one thing in common: a drool-worthy wardrobe worth revisiting.
On Monday morning, Anne Hathaway visited Good Morning America looking spring-ready in a gorgeous floral dress. The calf-length design looked like another expensive designer creation with pleats above the waist and a sheer skirt. But it turns out that the black dress was actually an amazing find from a flea market. What's even crazier: Hathaway only paid $15 for the dress. Nope, that's not a typo. "I’m trying to be more sustainable with my fashion choices, so I’m trying to wear vintage wherever I can,” Hathaway explained to the cameras. That's a trend we definitely can get behind. It's so nice to see celebs making fashion choices that are also eco-friendly. Unfortunately, since it's vintage, we can't purchase Hathaway's exact dress. But there are several look-alikes that you'll be happy to wear over and over again this spring below.

Ocean's Eight just added another heavy-hitter to its ensemble cast. The Late Late Show host, Tony winner, and all-around funny man James Corden just signed on to the film, Deadline reports. Corden will reportedly play an insurance investigator who grows suspicious of the ladies' heist plot in N.Y.C. (and probably tries to sabotage their illegal actions). The Into the Woods star will act in a supporting role alongside Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina in the film, which is slated to hit theaters June 8, 2018. Movie stars like Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway, and Lupita Nyong’o spend most of their careers smiling for the cameras, so what happens when the spotlight goes dark? These celebrities have a shy side that comes out when the director calls “cut.” At this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, Shutterstock photographer Andrew H. Walker asked actors to show two different sides of themselves to the camera, and was surprised to find that dozens of A-list stars were more than willing to oblige. Adams showed her shy side in her first shot, which she said represented her intrinsic, private self, but then she got up on the table for a glammed-up photograph. “Okay, now I’m going to give you some Hollywood,” she told Walker. Where’s Ben Stiller when you need him? The Night at the Museum star was no where to be found across a series of late-night parties and galas that popped inside New York City’s most treasured institutions of art, like the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Guggenheim. Fashion’s rat pack , however, stepped out in droves all week long. Karlie Kloss played co-host at the Whitney’s annual Art Party on Tuesday, when she was joined by—and wore a dress from—designer and fellow co-host Brandon Maxwell. For Kloss, the week didn’t spare any time for a Netflix-and-chill session. She also dazzled in a gilded, deep-V Michael Kors dress at L’Oréal Paris’s Women of Worth celebration in N.Y.C. alongside Eva Longoria and Blake Lively, and later turned to a LBD (a Dior version, nonetheless) at the Guggenheim’s International Gala 2016. Poppy Delevingne and her stylish squad packed into New York's Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday for its Chanel-hosted Film Benefit, where the model honored Tom Hanks, who was on hand with wife Rita Wilson. Christy Turlington Burns, Alexa Chung, and Emma Watson were just a few talented stars that cut quite the classic figure in Chanel that evening.
