Angelina Jolie Wore a Sophisticated Maxidress to the Brooklyn Museum
It actually looks very cozy.
Angelina Jolie brings a level of sophistication everything she does. (Exhibit A: getting a hot dog from a street vendor has never looked so good.) Which is why she would be able to make a billowing maxidress look cool and classy as hell.
The actress wore a dark long-sleeved, ankle-length dress, which she paired with nude-colored Salvatore Ferragamo slides and a large canvas Louis Vuitton purse with brown leather straps. She also carried a long gray cardigan and wore a light gray face mask.
While her New York looks have been a bit more toned down and muted, the star sported a bright yellow dress during a birthday dinner at Tao restaurant in L.A. that her six kids surprised her with on Friday. And it's not just birthdays that receive special treatment from her kids. She recently told Extra that they nail their Mother's Day celebrations every year.
"My kids have always been amazing at Mother's Day. The fun for me is that I don't plan anything, I don't do anything, and they all tend to work together to surprise me with something," she said. "It is just the knowing that they are doing something together and thinking of something together, and that they want to and that they think it is important always makes me cry. They always joke about how quickly it makes me cry. They will laugh at how many times I cry in the day or how quickly I cry … 'Oh, there she goes!'"
