Angelina Jolie Made a Case for the Formal Turtleneck

And made another red carpet appearance with two of her kids.

Angelina Jolie, the queen of elevated basics, is showing us that formal attire is as easy as just a few classic closet staples.

The actress made an appearance on the red (black) carpet on Thursday night alongside two of her children, 17-year-old Pax and 15-year-old Shiloh, wearing a black turtleneck and a matching midiskirt. Jolie tied the outfit together with a pair of black pumps, proving that a mixture of sleek staples can go a long way when it comes to a going-out ensemble.

Jolie and her children were making an appearance at the premiere of Paper & Glue at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles to support French artist JR. Paper & Glue, JR's documentary, follows him around the globe as he builds some of his biggest projects.

Jolie has recently been making rounds at press circuits to promote her film Eternals, often with her children alongside her. Last month, Shiloh stepped out at the Eternals premiere with her siblings, wearing an updated version of Jolie's 2019 Dior dress.
