How I Met Your Mother Star Alyson Hannigan Is Selling Her Adorable L.A. Home for $8.8 Million—Peek Inside!
Alyson Hannigan's recently listed Los Angeles home is legen—wait for it!—dary.
The How I Met Your Mother star bought the home with her husband and Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Alexis Denisof back in 2015 for $7.9 million, and now, less than a year later, it's back on the market for a cool $8.795 million, as reported by People. The actors live in the house with their two children, Satyana, 7, and Keeva, 4, but are clearly looking to relocate.
The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom house sits on more than half an acre of land and features a few fireplaces, a large pool in the backyard, an updated kitchen, multiple sitting rooms, a small gym, plenty of natural light, thanks to a ton of windows and first-floor French doors, plus a guesthouse-turned crafting room, thanks to Hannigan and her daughters' affinity for arts and crafts.
The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with a huge tub and newly renovated shower, plus a balcony in the room for maximum fresh air and natural light. And thanks to a spacious outdoor patio, we can totally picture Hannigan and her family hanging out and enjoying the California sun.

The home was built in 1936 in classic, East Coast New England style.
The kitchen boasts both an old-timey French country feel, as well as modern style, thanks to the updated finishes and rustic-chic décor.
The Family Room
The front section of the home, featuring this family room, boasts plenty of natural light and an airy, open-concept entryway.
The Living Room
We're loving the cool blue bookshelves and rustic-inspired seating in the cozy living room.
The Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has both an en-suite porch and enough space for a full couch. If this were our bedroom, we'd never leave.
The Master Bathroom
The master bath looks like it's been plucked right out of a luxe spa. Seriously, we could soak in that tub for hours.
The Guesthouse/Craft Room
In the guesthouse-turned-craft room, we're sure Hannigan and her kids have created many memories, plenty of which were probably proudly hung on the refrigerator.
Thanks to a very open backyard, we're sure this pool sees plenty of sunlight throughout the day, perfect for pool parties and backyard BBQs.
