The 39 Most Naked Dresses of All Time

Naked dresses are perhaps the most impressive of all red carpet feats. While they may not always make the best-dressed list, they do require a certain breed of celebrity to pull off. Not only do you have to have the balls to risk a wardrobe malfunction, but you have to do it with enough confidence that you look fierce — not terrified — in the photographs. Take Naomi Campbell's appearance in Valentino's couture show during the spring/summer 2019 presentation. The legendary model gracefully strutted down the runway in a see-through gown with a ruffle skirt. (Click through the gallery for the NSFW photo).  Get the inside scoop on all your favorite celebrities with our FREE daily newsletter, InStyle Celebrity. Breaking news, relationship updates, hairstyle inspo, fashion trends, and more direct to your inbox! Let's not forget Rihanna’s infamous CFDA dress either. The girl rocked a completely sheer dress without a bra — and later remarked that her only regret was not wearing a bedazzled thong to match. That, my friends, is dedication. Then, there was the year 2015, when the Met Gala saw not one nor two but three naked dresses on the red carpet, all worn by Hollywood’s hottest A-listers. Jennifer Lopez, above, bared her famous curves in a custom Atelier Versace illusion gown. Beyoncé was nearly naked in Givenchy. And Kim Kardashian West almost looked modest in comparison in her sheer Roberto Cavalli dress, because no one’s getting naked without KKW joining in. Click through to see the best naked dresses of all time.

15 Times Riley Keough Has Completely Slayed the Red Carpet

For Riley Keough, making a fashion statement isn't accidental; it's a way of life. The 28-year-old actress—whose new movie, It Comes At Night, hits theaters today—never shies away from a bold or offbeat choice. And lately, we've been taking note more than ever before. From sequins and chains to ruffles and lace, Keough has worn it all. While she most often opts for strong Louis Vuitton numbers, some of her recent red carpet hits also include designs by Chanel, Coach, and Dolce & Gabbana. She's also thrown in looks from The Row and Gucci. You know, just for good measure.

It's clear that Keough is killing it on the carpet—and really, that shouldn't come as much of a surprise. After all, she's the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley (and granddaughter of Elvis), so it's safe to say that a fashion-forward mentality runs in her family. Here, we've rounded up some of her most exciting outfits to date.

There's a lot going on here: sequins, stripes, chains, zippers, belts, and boots (not pictured). Yet somehow, Keough pulls it off effortlessly.

For some, this look would be impossible to pull off. But Keough makes her oversized The Row dress look downright chic by pairing it with simple black accessories and an updo.

It was hard notto notice Keough's geometric beaded gown as she walked the red carpet. The art deco design was perfectly offset by her simple updo and a bright red lip.

Keough went retro with this all-white ensemble. Her mod dress and booties are definitely casual-cool, but it's the black and white polkadot bag that takes her look to a new level.

To match her much-lighter locks, Keough chose a neutral palette that was anything but boring. She topped off her patterned dress with tall black boots that hit her right where the outfit's sheer lacy panels ended and yet another LV bag.

Keough's take on the classic LBD involves sheer panels, satin bows, and embellished buttons. And, of course, a deep red lip to match.

We love a bright pop of color—and so does Keough. She accented her black and white color-blocked dress with a bold bootie and a checkered handbag. Accessories game: on point.

Keough gave off major '70s vibes in a buttoned-up brown shirt paired with a floral skirt. It's a different look for the star, but thanks to her long flowing locks, it worked.

We're not used to seeing much color on Keough, but she basically went full-on neon to celebrate her film at Cannes. The ruffed two-tone look might be a bit on the wild side, but we're all for taking a risk.

Keough switched up her color palette again, opting for a bright red duster coat over a black camisole and wide-leg periwinkle pants.

Keough took the plunge in a black and white layered dress and strappy sandals. While it's undoubtedly a bit sexier than her usual looks, the dress still maintains the star's edginess thanks to grommet details at the neckline.

This bohemian dress packs a punch thanks to embellished cutouts and sheer panels. Ultimately, it crosses over from soft and pretty to rocker-chic thanks to Keough's high bun and glam cat-eye.

We love a good coat moment, and Keough delivered one in this white leather-paneled design. She finished the fun look with brown t-strap heels.

All eyes were on this glittering chrome column gown, which paid homage to the night's 'Manus x Machina' theme. Keough kept the rest of her look simple, with a sleek center-part and emerald earrings.

This off-the-shoulder beige dress was anything but basic—especially thanks to Keough's dramatic makeup, slicked-down hair, and pointed nude pumps.
