Keisha Nash Whitaker's Hair Inspiration

HAIR ROUTINE For the creator of Kissable Couture lipgloss, beauty is second-nature to Keisha Nash Whitaker (who also finds herself in the limelight on husband Forrest's arm). When it comes to her hair, this L.A.-based professional keeps it pretty simple by running a flat iron through it and spritzing on a gloss spray before work. "If I go to bed with my hair curly, I part it in four sections, comb conditioner through it and braid it, which gives me soft curls in the morning," she says.
HAIR INSPIRATION "Charlize Theron's hair always looks healthy," says Nash Whitaker. "I like hair that's full and thick like Lake Bell's and Eva Longoria Parker's."

MAKEUP ROUTINE "My makeup routine is down to 15 minutes because I do the same makeup every day," she says. This becomes even simpler on the weekend, when she opts simply for moisturizer, SPF, a light coating of mascara and big sunglasses. When it comes to beauty, Nash Whitaker says, "Less is more." But if she has a big event, she amps up her look with faux lashes and brown shimmer eyeliner from M.A.C.
MAKEUP INSPIRATION She loves Kerry Washington's makeup: "It's always very pretty and she experiments with color." While Nash Whitaker admits to sticking to a neutral palette, she did wear purple eyeshadow to last year's Oscars.

HAIR ROUTINE This senior director of public relations for American Eagle keeps her weekday routine as basic as her weekend one. Her biggest hair rule is that she won't leave the house with wet tresses- "I don't feel finished so I have to dry it," she says. To save time, she sometimes washes her hair at night and pulls it in a ponytail in the morning. She splurges on coloring her hair every three months "and it's worth it," she says.
HAIR INSPIRATION "I like Jennifer Aniston's, of course," says DiCarlo of the star whose mane is almost as famous as she is. "It's classic, shiny and healthy. And I love long hair."

MAKEUP ROUTINE New York-based DiCarlo says her makeup motto is, "It's all about keeping it simple and looking natural." She keeps her routine to a few neutral-paletted items for work and weekend. For a dressier occasion she likes navy eyeliner, which she smudges to look like shadow.
MAKEUP INSPIRATION DiCarlo names Sarah Jessica Parker as someone whose makeup stands out to her. "Her eyes always seem so well-defined."

HAIR ROUTINE As V.P., Motion Pictures Department at William Morris Agency, Esther Chang leads a very busy and very efficient life. Her morning beauty routine starts with a shower after the gym and she reads a script while blow-drying her hair.
HAIR INSPIRATION Her client, Keri Russell. "It's unique and always looks gorgeous no matter what she does with it," says Chang. "I'm not sure how it would look on me, but it's stunning on her!"

MAKEUP ROUTINE For work, she has a pretty simple makeup regimen, which she puts on while she makes coffee and eggs for breakfast. When she can fit it in, she loves to get facials every six weeks at Ona Spa and her nails done at Bella Care, both in Los Angeles.
MAKEUP INSPIRATION "Yunjin Kim's makeup always looks natural but sexy," Chang says. "I think Asian makeup is really difficult to do because we have such subtle features, but Yunjin constantly changes it up depending on her events and it still looks true to her very pretty face."

HER MUST-HAVE PRODUCT "I can't live without my T3 tourmaline dryer!" SKINCARE: "I'm in the office 10 hours a day, so I try to be outdoors as much as possible on the weekend," so she loads up on SPF, including Peter Thomas Roth sunblock, which she says doesn't sting if it gets in the eyes. She also uses Shiseido blotting sheets and spritzes herself with Evian face spray to feel energized.
HAIR: Kiehl's heat-protective straightening cream ("It makes my hair really soft and less frizzy-I've turned my friends onto it, regardless of their hair type") and Bumble amp Bumble Tonic shampoo and Alojoba conditioner.
MAKEUP: Cle de Peau foundation, Shiseido bronzing blush, Cle de Peau eyeshadow, Shiseido mascara and on nails she likes Essie polish in Mademoiselle. For a night out she loves red lipstick (Cle de Peau or Chanel).
