Jennifer Aniston has been a hair icon since "The Rachel" made its debut on Friends in the '90s. Although we've moved past the polarizing haircut, Aniston's silky and lustrous mane has remained enviable. Giving the people what they want, she launched her own haircare brand, Lolavie, and while sharing with Instagram a glimpse into how she uses her own products, a surprising colorful hairbrush stole the spotlight.

The hair brush in question is the $10 Wet Brush Pro Flex Dry — with her hair wet, Aniston uses the brush to comb her hair after she's applied the product. Personally, I have literally no recollection of shopping for and buying a hairbrush in the first two decades of my life. It seems like it must have happened at some point? But there just always seem to be no name brand hair brushes within my reach. So the idea of a hair brush (that isn't $240) having a following that includes a celebrity is surprising to me.

More than 2,000 five-star Amazon ratings across three different color versions of the brush, however, explain that the $10 Wet Brush is not just any old product. As the name implies, the brush is flexible, which helps it contour to your scalp as you brush, easily detangling knots without causing any further breakage.

"I just would not use another brush ever again," a happy reviewer wrote. "I've purchased about four of them… I even use it for stocking stuffers at Christmas." Several other reviewers also shared that the brush will be included in their Christmas gifts this year. Generally, shoppers praise the way the brush is able to glide through hair like butter without pulling or causing any irritation. A different shopper wrote, "[the brush] is strong enough for the biggest tangles, soft enough not to break hair, and always a great massage when I brush my hair."

The Wet Brush seems to be a huge hit with customers who have long hair that is more difficult to brush and that gets knotted easily, but reviewers say that it works on all hair types and is especially useful for people with sensitive scalps. Ahead of the holiday season, get yourself and those on your holiday list a Wet Brush in millennial ombre, teal ombre, or coral ombre on Amazon.
