Glossier's New Body Hero Products Are the Winter Upgrade Your Shower Needs
Level-up your body care routine ahead of dry skin season.
Glossier's latest products aren't for your face, but the two new additions to the millennial-favorite brand's Body Hero collection are inspired by your skincare routine.
While the Daily Oily Wash and Daily Perfecting Cream cover basic hydration of the skin below your neck, the Exfoliating Bar and Dry-Touch Oil Mist are designed to take your body care routine to the next level.
The Exfoliating Bar is a mess-free and non-controversial alternative to a scrub. It's designed to fit perfectly into the palm of your hand, so it won't slip out mid-shower, and has a groove for a pump of body wash if your skin is in desperate need of hydration. (Hey, winter is coming.)
As for the actual formula, Glossier combined biodegradable bamboo powder to provide gentle, but effective physical exfoliation that doesn't strip or irritate skin with sunflower seed oil and aloe vera to restore and lock in moisture. The bar comes in recyclable packaging and the powder won't clog your drain. (Your landlord will thank you.)

The Dry-Touch Oil Mist is like a soothing, glow-boosting face mist — for your body. Its formula instantly moisturizes skin without leaving any greasy residue behind that will eventually end up on your clothes. It's infused with a nourishing blend of antioxidant-rich oils such as sunflower seed, grapeseed, and oat, as well as sea fennel extract to improve skin texture and radiance.

Both products are formulated with Glossier's fresh orange neroli blossom scent, a fragrance that's exclusive to the brand's Body Hero collection. And if you're entire shower need an upgrade, the Body Hero collection is now available as a set for $70.
All bodies are beautiful, especially when they're in action, which is why Glossier partnered with eight of the WNBA's biggest stars for the new Body Hero campaign, including 2020 WNBA champions Sue Bird, Seimone Augustus, Lexie Brown, Kalani Brown, Amanda Zahui B., Natalie Achonwa, Stefanie Dolson, and Gabby Williams. These extraordinary athletes self-filmed their daily routines while living and playing in the WNBA "Wubble."
To accompany the WNBA's stories, Glossier turned to its own community of body heroes to create a series of intimate skin portraits showcasing just how beautiful the body is in all of its forms, from a nurse to an artist. These community members include Tyrell Hampton, Choi Chun Leung, Guilia Marsico, Daniele Lee, Kendra Austin, Cyrus Veyssi, Sophie Helf, and Andrea Dalzell.
