This Cloud-Inspired Moisturizer Is Like a Soft, Fluffy Blanket for Your Face
Clouds have already inspired a best-selling Ariana Grande fragrance and a dreamy eyeliner look worn by Jules in Euphoria season one, so it was only a matter of time before the masses of water and ice drops made its way into skincare.
Enter Eadem's second skincare product: the Cloud Cushion Airy Brightening Moisturizer. The moisturizer has an all-star lineup of skincare ingredients including plant-based ceramides to hydrate, peptides to brighten and even out skin tone, niacinamide to soothe skin and minimize the appearance of pores, and snow mushroom, an ingredient found in Traditional Chinese Medicine, that's more hydrating than hyaluronic acid.
The BIPOC-owned brand may be less than a year old, but it's already become known for creating products that sell out. Its first launch, the brightening Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum, racked up waitlists because of its innovative formula designed to treat dark spots in melanin-rich skin while preventing new ones. Eadem calls it "Smart Melanin beauty," and while the brand's products prioritize the needs of melenated skin, they can be used by anyone.
Even without the stacked ingredient list, I admit I'd probably try Cloud Cushion for its gorgeous black and white glass bottle alone. The minimalist design is basically cat nip for Instagram flat lays. But it's the user experience and results that have made me continue reaching this moisturizer over the other ones in my medicine cabinet.

Cloud Cushion lives up to its name with a light, fluffy texture that miraculously absorbs quickly into skin without any greasy residue. I imagine it's what floating on a fluffy cumulous cloud feels like, or more realistically, it's like being wrapped up in a soft, fuzzy blanket. Since incorporating it into my morning and nighttime routines, my skin has stay soft and smooth all day, and I love the radiant, moisturized base it creates for my makeup.

The only confusing part about this moisturizer is that it hasn't sold out since launching earlier this month. So, I recommend getting a jar while you still can.
