As a person who spends a great deal of time in her bathtub, I pride myself in knowing about the best soaks and salts to steep myself in until I am wrinkly, pruned, and game for a nap. I often feel like I have my best ideas when I am letting my mind wander while I bathe. This, of course, motivates me to take more baths beyond just wanting to be clean. Anyway, for the most part, I try scrubs or soaks, but it's not often that I try a scrub that could also double as a soak, which is why I was so excited to meet Babe Scrub.

First of all, I'm into the name. We are all babes, deserve to recognize that, and of course, have the right to unleash our babelicious side at any time. Babe Scrub caught my eye, not only because the packaging is really cute, compact, and convenient, but also because you can either dump a scoop of your Himalayan Pink Salt Body Scrub ($24; sephora.com) into your tub and let it dissolve, or you could get physical with it and give your body a good buff job.

As a scrub, it's amazing because it boosts circulation, plumping out lines and smoothing lumps and bumps. Of course, the fact that it's pink Himalayan salt makes it even more amazing because that kind of salt is full of minerals that can help relax the body, lower your blood pressure, and soothe sore muscles. Beyond that, there's also organic sugar in this scrub, which has a naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid in it. That means it's gonna fight wrinkles, moisturize, and reduce stretch marks.

There's also a blend of organic oils in this scrub, so if you soak in it or if you buff yourself, the vitamin E, antioxidants, and fatty acids will work together to nourish your skin, keep them stems of yours silky smooth, and of course, prevent moisture loss. By relaxing in a warm pool of this, you'll also help relieve dryness, itchiness, and reduce redness and scarring.

My routine for the babe scrub is simple. I take a handful and dissolve it into my tub. While in the tub, I work another handful into my limbs, paying special attention to "problem areas."

When there's a chill in the air, I feel the wear and tear of my day and my workouts that much more, so this scrub has truly become a comfort for me. Obviously, I feel like a total babe after I use it. I mean, who wouldn't?
