Gone are the days where freckles are something to hide — at least, according to Freck Beauty. The clean skincare-makeup brand first stepped onto the scene with the launch of Freck OG, the first faux freckle cosmetic, and its offerings have since grown into a line of hydrating creams, exfoliating toners, buildable color tints, and clarifying masks. And now, the brand is back with an equally enticing addition: it's first ever mascara.

The Lashrocket Mascara is more than just a classic matte black formula; it doubles as a lash growth serum to transform all lash types — including fine, fair, and straight hair — into a fuller, thicker state. The smudge- and clump-free mascara-serum is infused with a nourishing peptide complex, vitamin B5, and red clover extract to encourage stronger growth with daily applications. What's more, the formula is ophthalmologist-tested, so those with extremely sensitive eyes can reap its benefits without irritation.

Prior to its release, the brand put the mascara's effectiveness to the test on 27 users over the course of 56 days. At the end of the testing period, 95 percent reported that the mascara was both easy to apply and remove, 92 percent agreed it was highly pigmented and doesn't fade throughout wear, while 90 percent said it separates each lash with ease, lasts all day, and makes their lashes "feel less brittle." In addition, 87 percent of users claimed their lashes looked healthy and more visible, while a near equal number said they appeared "fuller, lifted, stronger, and longer."

Though the mascara is new to the market, positive feedback has already begun to collect in the reviews section, where Freck Beauty shoppers call the product "amazing" for achieving fuller lashes. One fan claimed the mascara made their "lashes grow fast" after experiencing hair fall-out from a previous product. "I am thankful I started using this product to help them grow back," they wrote. "They have been looking so much longer and fuller."

A separate reviewer gave the mascara a five-star rating after they saw growth come through within 10 days of use. "[It] goes on smoothly and instantly gives the look of longer lashes. I can wear it morning to night without any smudging," they said.

The Lashrocket Mascara isn't the only thing to join Freck's lineup lately; the Lashrocket Liner, a highly pigmented liner-serum infused with the same lash-enhancing ingredients, is also now available. Those that seek a flake-free liner need look no further — the formula is transfer-proof, and won't ever fade or bleed.

Case in point: A reviewer wrote that the formula is "all it's cracked up to be and more" for their oily and hooded eyelids, claiming it solved their issue of makeup moving out of place. And, it won't budge an inch, even if you find yourself sobbing with it on, according to another fan — we'd say that's impressive.

Both of Freck Beauty's new items, the Lashrocket Mascara and the Lashrocket Liner are available on the brand's website for $26 and under.
