The annual event, falling on July 12 and 13, means a bit of relief; especially if you're about to hit the bottom of your moisturizer or sunscreen, there are few better chances to stock up. And ahead of the rush, some savvy companies are starting the savings early. Kicking off the discounts is Andalou Naturals Probiotic + C Renewal Cream, down 56 percent from $29. The juicily hydrating formula uses magnesium ascorbyl phosphate and goji extract to brighten skin so much that you won't need serum, plus vitamin E, shea butter, jojoba oil, squalane, allantoin, and panthenol. Thanks to that slate's antioxidants, shoppers said their lines are reducing and dark spots are "almost completely fading away." It's especially popular amongst people in their 40s, like one person who said the "heavenly cream" changed their relationship with their skin. A 53-year-old former sun-lover also said it firmed their skin and "added life" to their eyes, thanks to the included centella asiatic, peptides, apple and lentil extract, and niacinamide. The company partners with 1% for the Planet and Climate Neutral, which means it measures and offsets its supply chain carbon emissions, along with implementing a Reduction Action Plan to lower emissions — something that sets the brand apart from the rest. While the cream normally goes for $70, it's now 56 percent off. Its Resurfacing Retinol Serum, for example, has earned over 18,000 five-star ratings at Amazon, with fans exuberant over the difference they saw within weeks. As one 43-year-old elaborated, their "WTF wrinkle" — or as they said, "chasm" — faded within days. Behind the change is retinol, ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid, some of the best-known ingredients in skincare. End result: As a 63-year-old put it, their skin looks "fabulous." Multiple reviewers reported their aestheticians and dermatologists steered them to the formula, which draws on zinc oxide, a medium tint, and tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate to protect, brighten, and blend into skin. The combination makes customers' skin look "fresh and glowy," one person wrote, thanks to its "seriously silky," lightweight texture. Courtesy Shop now: $38 (Originally $45); amazon.com Last is Acure's Incredibly Clear Charcoal Lemonade Facial Scrub, a sister to the brand's ever-popular Brightening Facial Scrub (which is also on sale). Speaking to the former's mix of charcoal, plant cellulose, aloe, kaolin, and acai extract, fans said it leaves their skin soft, moisturized, and clean, so much so that they want to bathe in it. Others wrote that the vegan formula has "just the right amount of scrub," tightens pores, and is especially well-suited for those with oily skin. If you're looking to smooth wrinkles, though, the Brightening iteration might be your best bet, according to users who attribute their lack of lines to the exfoliant.
