With outside still very much being closed, but Zoom cameras often required to be on, neutral glam is definitely in.

But let's be honest here, with the world just realizing that nude isn't only one universal shade of beige a few years ago, the neutral makeup options for Black women haven't always been so great.

Thankfully, with the beauty industry starting to shift, there are many more options out there for when you just need a soft finish before your next video call — both from Black and non-Black-owned brands. But for now, we're sticking with the ones who've always been down for us.

Here, I've rounded up some of the best makeup products for Black women to use when we want a natural finish.

Everything from the best foundation to a nude lip (that works for our many shades), ahead.
