Queen Elizabeth's Favorite Drugstore Nail Polish Just Got an Upgrade

Sure, Queen Elizabeth may get to wear dazzling tiaras, live between Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, and is literally the Queen of England — but that doesn't mean we all can't relate to the beloved royal. She's a lot like the rest of us, at least when it comes to her go-to manicure.

The Queen has reportedly been a fan of Essie's Ballet Slippers since 1989, so much so that it's apparently the only polish she will wear. Now, the brand's putting a spin on the iconic shade to give its cult followers a brand new finish — literally.

For spring 2020, Essie's coming in hot with its new Originals Remixed Collection, which features Ballet Sneaker, a matte take on the fan-favorite shade.

But that's not all, the collection also includes remixed shades like Berry Nice and Like A Rebel, which are shimmery takes on Berry Naughty and Ladylike, respectively.
