MAC and Pixi's Latest Collections Were Basically Made for Your Instagram Feed
Talk about being under the influence. When it comes to developing an upcoming (probably limited-edition) color range, MAC never fails to surprise us with their unique and glamorous points of inspiration. This time around for their spring lipstick collection, the iconic brand has proven itself to be as skilled in the Instagram-stalking world as we are. MAC has partnered with some of the biggest beauty influencers from around the world—including Gabriel Zamora, Vic Ceridono, and Caroline Daur among many others—to develop their very own lipstick colors in a collection counting 10 shades total. While MAC has only teased the above image so far, some of your faves have been posting sneak peeks from the lab, and we couldn't be more excited for the April launch.
And MAC isn't the only brand currently collaborating with your following list. Pixi has teamed up on with beauty gurus like Aspyn Ovard, Caroline Hirons, Judy Travis, and Maryam Maquillage to create capsule collections that include both makeup and skincare. Each range draws inspiration from every influencer's signature look, though we're most fascinated by the Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse Duo, priced at $24. On one side is a solid cleansing oil designed to break down your makeup—simply apply it over your face, let it work its magic for a few seconds, then rinse it off. Follow with the cleansing cream on the other end to remove any straggling particles, and to lock in moisture. You can either apply it and rinse it off as you would with cold cream, or leave it on for a few extra minutes and repurpose as a mask. Find the entire influencer range at Target locations nationwide and target.com starting January 15!
