Photo: Amy Sussman/KCA2021/Getty Images for Nickelodeon Only Jennifer Garner could stay so effervescent as people rejoice over the escapades of Bennifer 2.0. It'd be a little rough in any case to see an ex in the spotlight, yet Garner comes off on social media and in interviews like a fun, loving, above-envy type of person — and that kind of wisdom applies to all things, even within the skincare realm. So when she recommended a Neutrogena anti-aging retinol face oil last year, we took notice — and now, the find is a full 49 percent off as part of Amazon's Beauty Haul sale. "I love a lot of drugstore things, but right now my favorite is Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil because it's hydrating," Garner told Glamour. She's no stranger to spending money on self-care (she also recommended a $55 Barbara Sturm lip balm as her "favorite luxury skin-care splurge"), which means the Neutrogena oil rivals the best of them — an opinion that Amazon shoppers share, according to the product's 3,000+ five-star ratings. "I've seen a huge difference in my skin. My deep wrinkles have diminished [to] where you can hardly see them, especially my smile lines and the lines around my lip area," wrote one ex-smoker who used the Retinol Oil with the coordinating Regenerating Anti-Aging Face Cream. Another reviewer commented that they saw "visible results" from the oil, with less sagging skin, faded forehead wrinkles, and entirely vanished small eye and lip wrinkles. Still more people called the results on their forehead wrinkles "shocking" and "unbelievable," so much so that they had "no need to photoshop pics anymore." Courtesy Shop now: $13 (Originally $25); amazon.com When it comes to results, skincare usually takes a month before effects start to show. But per multiple reviewers, the Neutrogena oil is so potent that changes begin in a matter of weeks — even impressing skeptics. "My forehead wrinkles are definitely less prominent after using this for a few weeks," wrote a fan who didn't think the timeline was possible. "I didn't experience any discomfort or flaking, despite it being my first retinol product." Others noted that they noticed their skin became smoother, less dry, and less crinkled within two days of using the oil, which made them snatch up two more bottles right away (if only they'd waited for this sale…). "Erases lip wrinkles in three uses," confirmed a 53-year-old customer who saw their deep lines depart within a week. "I will never let myself run out of this." More shoppers likewise keep the faith, writing that they re-up their stash monthly. Even people who've been figuratively burnt by skincare products before praise the buy, dubbing it "the only thing [they've] found to really make a difference in wrinkles." Those in their 60s agree that it gets rid of fine lines in favor of smooth skin, and others write that their face feels "firmer, yet softer than ever" — likely thanks to the oil's combination of retinol and vitamin E. "It's actually working! Pretty incredible since I'm in my late 60s and an outdoor person," a last person wrote. "I don't have wrinkles, I have fissures. This is helping tremendously."
