Fragrance is a powerful thing, sending messages and evoking feelings, and Gucci’s new fragrance, Gucci Bloom, couldn’t prove the point better. Today, the designer brand released the first women’s fragrance by creative director Alessandro Michele, and it’s a true testament to embracing your individuality and womanhood.

Basically, it’s your new go-to girl power scent—and trust us when we say it’s one of the most beautiful smells our noses have ever experienced. Drawing inspiration from “the authentic spirit of the women,” Michele worked with master perfumer Alberto Morillas to create a white floral scent that would transport you to a colorful, gorgeous, and wild garden and remind you to feel free to be who you are.

The bottle design even drew upon femininity in a genuine way. "The bottle is not designed feminine to seduce men, but to keep company with the women who wear the perfume,” said Michele in a press release. "Retro and tender because of its color, with clean, slender lines, and not crafted in transparent glass—it is instead lacquered, reminiscent of porcelain, a material that I love very much."

The light yet lasting floral fragrance notes consist of a blend of natural tuberose, jasmine absolute, and fresh notes of Rangoon Creeper, a plant that has never been used in perfume-making before and was discovered in South India.

And the campaign? It’s just as beautiful as the scent and the inspiration themselves. Starring actress Dakota Johnson, model Hari Nef, and artist Petra Collins, it takes place in a magical and enchanted English garden that looks like it belongs in scene of Pride and Prejudice.
