Everybody has their makeup must-haves, and for me, blush is in the top three. There's nothing like a flush of color to make me look alive, healthy, and in my opinion, the prettiest version of myself.

I'm picky with my formulas, though. For starters, I almost exclusively wear cream blushes. While powders have an incredible camera-ready effect and look wonderful on some people, I believe cream formulas look more natural on my skin and can give it that lit-from-within glow. Plus, I need it to last long and feel good on my skin.

Well, the Bloomeffects Tulip Tint Lip & Cheek Lip Balms fit the bill and then some. Apart from being a two-in-one product, it also has skin-replenishing ingredients such as jojoba seed oil, sweet almond oil, and shea butter. To top it off, each blush is infused with the brand's proprietary Dutch tulip complex that blurs fine lines. I mean, my old blush could never.

Not only is the formula great for my skin and lasts all day, but I really appreciate how eco-friendly the brand is. Unlike other tube blushes I've tried, this one has more of a gritty feel as its packaging is made with PICEA wood tubes made from sawdust and other renewable sources. According to Bloomeffects, all of these practices help make its packaging have a carbon footprint that's 40% smaller than what would be produced with conventional plastic tubes. Plus, the rest of the brand's product cartons are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, made from 100% recycled materials, and are 100% recyclable.

The Tulip Tint Lip & Cheek Balm comes in three colors: petal pink, stroopwafel, and crispa coral. I have medium-toned olive skin, so I'm always a little suspicious when a light shade, such as this coral one, is deemed as universal because often it ends up blurring into my skin without an ounce of color payoff — or one that I find complementary in any way. However, they all gave a lovely effect on my skin.

Stroopwafel has become my everyday earthy, almost dusty blush. When I want to give my cheeks that I-just-worked-out flush, I dab a bit of Petal Pink along my cheekbones and bridge of my nose. If I'm looking to give off majorly flirty vibes, which if I'm honest is quite often, Crispa Coral is my girl.

On top of all the benefits this lip and cheek balm provides, I'd be remiss not to mention that the formula feels like velvet. Seriously, no makeup product has ever felt so soft on my fingers and face — it's the cherry on top of an already incredible formula I've already told all my friends about.
