Waking up with dry, flaky skin is truly the decaying cherry on top of already having to suffer through winter. And I hate it.

Every morning when I look in the mirror, all I can think of are the days when I took my summertime dewy glow for granted as I use a physical exfoliant to smooth things out. My face likes to think it's cute to take on the croissant look overnight.

As horrible as winter can be to my skin, serums have proven they're The Method Man to my Mary J. Blige during the coldest and driest time of year. However, not all serums are created equal (trust me, I've tried hundreds at this point).

But Bloomeffects' new Tulip Dew Drops? This is the product my skin has been waiting for.

After I finish cleansing my face, I massage two or three pumps of the product into my skin (it comes out white, but becomes sheer as you massage it in). Instantly, my skin is glowing and hydrated — and it lasts all day. Hallelujah.

I've tried it both underneath a moisturizer and on its own. Obviously, layering a cream on top is going to give you a juicier finish, but this serum gives you good results all on its own.

The magic is in Bloomeffects' beautiful formula, which took over two years and 10 iterations to develop. All good things take time, right?

These water-based drops feature the brand's Dutch Tulip Complex, as well as everyone's fave niacinamide, squalane, plus vitamins C, D, and E. So yes, it's giving the girls hydration, evening out our skin tone, and protecting the skin against free radical damage and pollution. You love to see it.

It takes a lot for me to truly be wowed by a serum, but Bloomeffects' Tulip Dew Drops deserves all the praise, plus tax.

It gives me back my summertime dewy complexion instantly. And during a time where it's sometimes hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, it's the little things that matter the most.
