The sun is shining (past 3 p.m. — finally), the birds are chirping, and the air no longer hurts our faces.

We say all this to say that spring is here, friends! And we're soaking it all up.

To celebrate the new season, we're playing with colorful eye makeup, finding ways to get a natural, sun-kissed glow — without having to lay out in the sun — and even exfoliating our underarms (yes, you read that right).

Ahead, all of our favorite beauty products we used in March. We know you'll fall in love with them, too.

Venus Skin Smoothing Exfoliant for Pubic Hair & Skin

Ok, yes I know this is supposed to be used for your pubes, but hear me out. Every time I use a drugstore razor to shave my underarms, everything is nice and hairless and smooth for the first day — then everything goes straight to hell. Irritation, redness, and ingrown hairs take over and girl, I'd rather just have bushy pits. However, using this physical exfoliant on my underarms before and after shaving with the matching Venus razor has made a world of difference. The ingrowns haven't completely vanished, but they're no where as bad as they used to be. However, irritation? Redness? I don't know her.

Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops

Hi, in case you didn't already know, I'm Black. So bronzers, self-tanners, and all those types of things were never really a thing for me. I've always had a natural tan, well, until Covid forced me to stay inside for weeks on end and have half my face covered whenever I do go outside. Now, I am pale as ever on a regular day — unless I add Drunk Elephant's Sunshine Drops to my morning routine. Aside from giving my face a much-needed bronzy glow, the formula also contains cocoa extract, which provides the skin with phytocompounds for antioxidant benefits, along with platinum peptides to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It even has chronocyclin, which mimics the effects of vitamin D. You truly can't lose with this product.

Laneige Lip Treatment Balm

Laneige is truly the G.O.A.T. when it comes to lip care products, so it's no surprise that the brand knocked it out of the park with their latest launch. As the daytime counterpart to their cult-favorite Lip Sleeping Mask, the Lip Treatment Balm features coconut oil to provide deep moisture, as well as peptides and adenosine to smooth the appearance of lips. To top it off, it gives you a beautiful pearlescent finish, reminiscent of early '00s lip gloss — without the sticky residue.

about-face Shadowstick in 2002

This Shadowstick from Halsey's about-face makeup line feels like a colored pencil for adults. It goes on creamy and smooth, allowing for about 30 seconds of play time before it dries down. And once it's set, it truly does not budge. There are eight shades in matte and pearly finishes. I'm a fan of 2002, which has a Y2K frosted eyeshadow vibe. The shimmery baby blue looks amazing all over the eyelid and smudged out, or as a clean cat-eye.

Grown Alchemist Natural Hydrating Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

I have a thing for beauty products that come in aluminum tubes. Not only do they look chic, but I'm able to get every last bit of product out of them. And I'm predicting that's what's going to happen with this Grown Alchemist SPF. The mineral formula blends seamlessly into my skin without leaving a cast, and it's infused with hydrating plant-based oils, so I feel ok about skipping my moisturizer in the a.m.

Ceremonia Cleanse & Condition

The herbaceous scent of Ceremona's new shampoo and conditioner won me over before I even brought them in the shower with me. Subtle, calming scents aside, the shampoo produces an impressive lather, despite being sulfate-free, and doesn't overly strip my hair of its natural moisture. The castor oil-infused conditioner leaves my hair feeling as soft as silk.
