March has been an interesting month, to say the least. In a matter of weeks, the entire world has been forced to make some serious shifts.

No longer are we able to safely go outside and socialize freely; items like disinfectant wipes and toilet paper are harder to find than an Aaliyah song on a streaming service, and the simplicity of being able to walk into your favorite nail salon and get a gel manicure seems like a distant memory. Thankfully, there are several beauty products we've been lucky enough to test out that have helped us cope during this uncertain time.

Some have made doing our own hair a breeze, while others have calmed our stressed out skin. Then there are the fragrances that have lifted our spirits and whisked us away to the happier days that are surely ahead. Now, we want to share all of these brilliant finds with you.

Oui the People Rose Gold Single-Blade Razor

Getting professional hair removal is on pause for the moment, so I've resorted to shaving everything. The only issue: razor bumps and ingrown hairs are pretty much inevitable — unless you're using Oui the People's Single Blade Razor. The solo blade has made a world of difference. It gives me a close shave (even in hard to reach areas), meaning I get an ultra-smooth finish with less chance for the hair to get trapped under the skin, which can lead to bumps and irritation.

St. Rose Juliet in White

It's very rare that I stumble upon a perfume that I'd actually want to wear every day, but St. Rose's Juliet in White has made the cut. This delicate fragrance offers subtle notes of tangerine and white rose, which come together beautifully to create a light floral scent that I can wear all day without wanting to wash it off. What makes the product even better is that the formula is free of phenoxyethanol, parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, and $5 of each purchase goes toward COVID-19 relief.

Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning Scented Candle

Before I even lit this candle, I was obsessed. Relaxing notes of patchouli, iris, and white musk quickly put my mind at ease, and instantly gave me the feeling of laying in freshly washed sheets. So if you're looking for a scented candle that is guaranteed to take away stress, this one is definitely worth the splurge.

Dyson Corrale Straightener

Since spending more time at home, I’ve had the chance to experiment with Dyson’s latest hair tool, the Corrale. What sets this flat iron apart from others is that its plates move with your hair. This means you’ll only have to pass over each section once, and your hair will be exposed to less heat. Typically, I use a flat iron every day to style my hair wavy or straight, but I’m terrible at curling my hair with one. Since the Corrale is cordless (!!!), I find it easier to use than other irons because the cord doesn’t get in the way as I’m styling my hair — and I’ve finally mastered doing curls.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Clarifying Mask

The current news has stressed out my skin. Throughout this entire month, I’ve experienced breakout after breakout. To help clear up my skin, I started using this clarifying mask twice a week. On nights off, it’s worked as a spot treatment for the zit mountains that have erupted on my chin. The formula's mix of sunflower oil extract, zinc, and kaolin clay have shortened the lifespan of my breakouts without drying out my skin. While this mask has quickly become one of my favorites, because it does the job and does it well, I love that it doesn’t get hard like others of its kind. The creamy texture is quick and easy to rinse off.

Dove 0% Aluminum Coconut + Pink Jasmine

I completely made the switch to aluminum-free deodorant a year ago and have never looked back. While there are a ton of options out there that actually keep you from smelling like you just came from a hot yoga class, the variety at the drugstore is still limited. I bought Dove’s 0% aluminum formula on a whim when I found myself out of deodorant and only near a drugstore, and it’s now my go-to. The fresh floral scent isn’t too sweet or overpowering, plus it doesn’t leave any white residue on my clothes. Oh, and most importantly, it holds up all day – even if you work out.
