dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

Man, where do I even start with this hair rinse? I know I've raved about it before, but I've never used up a bottle of something so quickly — I truly can't get enough of it. During my weekly protective style wash days, I simply part my hair into sections and use the spout tip to apply the rinse directly to my scalp. I let it sit for a minute or two, then add in some water, let it sud up, and rinse. While some products leave behind a white residue that's impossible to get rid of until you take out your braids, this formula cleanses your scalp, removes any debris or flakes, and then goes on about its business, leaving your scalp feeling refreshed and completely clear without drying out your new growth. La Mer The Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream

To know me is the know that I love La Mer, but I'll be honest, the original formula is a bit too much for my skin in the summer. So instead of abandoning ship, I've swapped it out for the Cool Gel Cream, which still leaves my skin ultra-moisturized and glowing, without the heaviness that I appreciate in the colder months.

Ivory Lavender Scent Body Wash

I'm definitely more of a bar of soap kinda girl than a body wash baddie, but hey, Ivory may have single-handedly changed my mind — just a little bit. This ultra-creamy cleanser is gentle enough for my eczema-prone skin and the scent isn't overpowering in the least. Plus, it leaves my skin so super soft that at times, I wonder if putting on lotion is redundant.

Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo

While there are a handful of dry shampoos that don't leave visible residue on my dark hair, I can still feel them, which is counterintuitive for something that's supposed to clean my hair. This new can from Living Proof absorbs excess oil and sweat, but leaves my hair feeling soft and not like I just blasted it with a bunch of product.

Glossier Solar Paint

Whenever I wear bronzer, more often than not I apply too much and have to scale it back for a softer finish. That's why I love the doefoot applicator of Glossier's Solar Paint. I can swipe on just a little bit, blend it out, and then build up the coverage, if I so desire. The product's creamy gel finish also blends like a dream without leaving a telltale bronzer stripe.

CeraVe Acne Control Gel

I've tried a ton of acne treatments with salicylic acid in them and 90% of them dry me out. This CeraVe Acne control Gel is in the 10% that doesn't make my skin flake off like school glue. In addition to the BHA acid, the formula also contains AHA acids to help clear clogged pores and a blend of hydrating buffer ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and ceramides. While this gel can be used as an allover face treatment, I like to dab it on my maskne like a spot treatment to help zits heal more quickly.
