Linda Wells' Workday Must-Haves Are Extremely Luxurious
After almost 25 years at the helm of the beauty magazine Allure, Linda Wells got to see things from a new perspective with the launch of her first makeup line, Flesh. “It was so gratifying to take an idea and create a product that I could hold in my hand,” says the editor-turned-chief creative officer of Revlon. “Of course, it was a ton of work. But my advice for younger people is, ‘Do the work for the work itself, not for praise or adulation. Then success will follow.’ ”
