So, obviously Rihanna — practically at the epicenter of the current pop culture zeitgeist — received an invite to the star-studded, yet backlash-sparking, Beyoncé and Jay Z's post-Oscars bash. Despite Rihanna not being nominated for an Oscar (it's only a matter of time) or in attendance this year, the billionaire made her way over to the biggest event in Tinseltown wearing a turtleneck Valentino gown with a black sheer, bandeau-baring top and a sequined skirt. Beneath the voluminous organza sleeves, Rih wore bedazzled black opera gloves that peeked through the mesh fabric. The singer accessorized with black-and-white statement earrings and white sneakers. (Maybe taking a page out of Kristen Stewart's kicks-with-evening-wear book?) Her long, dark hair was styled into a unique zig-zag part, reminiscent of the '90s. Paris Fashion Week lingerie, Gucci crop tops, and diamond bra tops are a few of the beauty guru's pregnancy go-tos. Riri was one of the many A-listers to make an appearance at the controversial function held at the Chateau Marmont. Hospitality union workers have been boycotting the Los Angeles landmark hotel due to allegations of employee mistreatment, according to Los Angeles Times. Beyoncé and Jay Z stayed quiet about the backlash following pushback and continued to host the party at Bar Marmont, a separate space on the property, which first opened in the 1920s as apartment buildings.
