When it was announced that she'd be on stage to hand out a trophy, fans expected a major fashion moment and the superstar (and former nominee) didn't disappoint, wearing a dreamy cream gown while posing alongside longtime friend, David Furnish. Gaga paired her strapless dress, which featured a glitzy bust and voluminous tulle skirt, with a trio of stunning Tiffany & Co. jewelry pieces displayed on her neck, ears, and wrist. The star finished her first look of the night with a classic red lip and an intricate, platinum blonde updo. Lady Gaga Needed a Psychiatric Nurse While Making House of Gucci Gaga has been nominated three times in the past: twice for Original Song and, of course, once for Best Actress for her role in A Star Is Born. She took home the trophy in 2019 for "Shallow" — and also brought a meme-worthy performance to the ceremony that year. Critics say that Gaga's House of Gucci press tour, which included mentions of staying in character, accent and all, for nine months and comparing her movement to various jungle creatures, may have turned off some of the Academy. The fact that Gaga's at the big show is enough for her loyal legion of Little Monsters, however, and there's no doubt that Gaga understands the assignment every time she arrives at any event, red carpet or not, and she just proved that again.
